State funded program providing services for children ages 3 thru 5 years old whose families meet eligibility categories.
• Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC)
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• State Supplemental Program (SSP)
• Persons eligible for cash grant, and recipient of Protective Services for Children determine or require child care services and have a written referral from CPS for services in accordance with protective services plan.
• Early Childhood Education (Children 3 thru 5 years old)
• English, Spanish
• Monday thru Friday 7 am to 6 pm
• Approximately 171 children and families are served
• Parent training and education for understanding and involvement in their child's development
• Parent education and involvement in local programs
• Servicing families with incomes at or below 84% of State median income at enrollment
• Centers are wheel chair accessible
• Information and referral services are provided participating families
• Parents must have a child care and development need in one of the following areas:
1) Is in an Education / Training Program
2) Is working
3) Is seeking employment
4) or is medically incapacitated
